Sweet Baby

At 5:37 this morning my Sister-In-Law Jennifer gave birth to her second daughter, Jubilee Lania. Oh what a precious girl she is. When we got the text this morning with her sweet picture, tears welled up in my eyes. I wanted to badly to be there with my family and celebrate this incredible miracle of life. Living 300 miles away makes it difficult to just hop in the car and drive down to the Hospital to join in the celebration. We are hoping to get down there soon to meet her, i only have about 4 weeks left that I can travel so we need to go soon! :)
All morning I have been day dreaming about Jubilee and what she will be like. Her favorite color, or food, the little funny sayings she will have, what she will look like when she is older.... All exciting things.

Then my mind wondered to my new sweet baby. Feeling her kick around in my tummy, I can't help but wonder what she is thinking. "Mom, it's too crowded!" or "Hey! Ava, play with me!". I day dream about my new little life all the time. One thing i haven't had much time to dream about is her name.... Well, I take that back. I have had time, and I do think about it a little, but there still isn't a front runner. We wait to name our babies until we see them. We have a list of names we like that we can pull from so we aren't going in totally blind! With Ava we had a huge list of names we loved, probably 20 first names and 10 middle names. But with this tiny dancer, we have probably 5 names we are thinking and praying about. Very different experience this time around. But I am loving every second of it. I am 30 weeks pregnant tomorrow, so we still have a little time left to figure out some more names!

Grace & Peace

I think it is so sweet how you wait to name your baby until you see her! How special! That must make it fun all around for everyone. I'm excited to see what you name her!!! PS, had this major epiphany, aha-moment with the concept of "Live in Love" (your tattoo :)) Anyway, not quite sure how to explain it but I was just like, "YES! Live in love!" It breaks down insecurities jealousy, bitterness, competition, anything like that. I'm sure it means something very specific to you, but I was thinking about certain people that there had been little issues with here and there and the whole idea of living in love has taken all of those issues out of the picture, at least for me. I don't know if any of this makes sense and I'm not going to go back and fix any errors or run-on sentences. LOL, sometimes you just have to throw out what you are trying to say and go with it. I am going to read up on your blog and find out what it means to YOU now. :)

Tiffany- Thanks for loving how we name our girls. There are definitely some people who aren't fans of the idea. Actually, it drives them nuts. Lol.
Regarding the "Live in Love" It's from 1 John "....whoever lives in love lives in God and God in Him..." It's always been one of mine and Daniels core values. We memorized that chunk of scripture together when we were dating and that principle just stuck with us. I am not good with people at all, usually because of my own insicurities, but if I try to live in love all the time then i know it helps me with my people skills. lol. It's exactly what you were saying. I figure if i stick it on my body permanently then i have to be held accountable. It's still a struggle, but it's something that i try and live every day. Love is what bridges gaps and heals hearts. The universal language. Speaking of love- your Ruby girl is too precious! So excited for you guys!
